Not a big story in a game when 7th ranked Sturt Sabres (4-10) lost to fourth ranked North Adelaide Rockets (8-6) in Pasadena 70-75 on Saturday. American forward Alexander Starling (198-89, college: Beth.-Cookman) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 13 rebounds. His fellow American import guard CJ Reed (190, college: Georgia South, agency: Gottfried Sports) contributed with 19 points for the winners. Four North Adelaide Rockets players scored in double figures. Swingman Tim Klaosen (196-89) answered with 11 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists and Dylan Rawson added 15 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Sturt Sabres. Sturt Sabres' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. North Adelaide Rockets maintains fourth place in League with 8-6 record. Loser Sturt Sabres keep the seventh position with ten games lost. North Adelaide Rockets will face league's second-placed Norwood Flames in Marden in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Sturt Sabres will play at home against Eastern Mavericks (#10) and hope to win that game.
