Regular Season Round 9: Magic Stormers - UCU Ladies 52-70

The game in was quite interesting. Fourth ranked UCU Ladies (5-2) played at the court of 6th ranked Magic Stormers (3-4). UCU Ladies did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 70-52 on Sunday. The best player for the winners was center Rose Akon who had a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds. Kenyan center Vilma Achieng (-94) chipped in 12 points. At the other side the best for losing team was Jane Asinde who recorded 10 points and 7 rebounds and Aja-Kul Aguti added 6 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. UCU Ladies have a solid series of three victories in a row. Defending champion moved-up to third place, which they share with KCC Leopards. Magic Stormers at the other side keep the sixth position with four games lost. They share it with Nkumba LM.
