There was a small surprise in Canberra where eighth ranked BA CoE (3-15) beat 6th ranked Hobart Chargers (6-8) 72-67 on Sunday. The hosts trailed by 1 point at the halftime before their 39-33 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Forward Isabel Palmer (178-1) fired 22 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Center Isabelle Bourne (186-0) chipped in 18 points and 8 rebounds.
