Regular Season Round 7: Luoyang - Wuhan 104-116

Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both eleventh ranked Wuhan and 10th ranked Luoyang had identical 2-4 record. But Luoyang was not able to use a home court advantage and lost to the opponent from 116-104 on Sunday night. The guests trailed by 5 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 12-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 116-104. Wuhan outrebounded Luoyang 49-23 including a 37-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. American swingman Devin Green (201-82, college: Hampton, agency: Interperformances) fired 33 points (!!!), 9 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Ukrainian center Vladyslav Koreniuk (210-94, agency: Octagon Europe) chipped in a double-double by scoring 29 points and 17 rebounds. Nigerian forward Ebi Ndudi (206-84) produced a double-double by scoring 31 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists and 7 steals and point guard PengPeng Reng (184-94) added 20 points and 7 assists respectively for lost side. Five Wuhan and four Luoyang players scored in double figures. Wuhan (3-4) moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Fujian. Luoyang lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the eleventh position with five games lost. Wuhan will have a break next round. Luoyang will play at home against Hunan (#7) and hope to win that game.
