Regular Season Round 2: Saigon H. - Can Tho CF 89-74

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Can Tho CF (1-1) on the court of Saigon Heat on Thursday night. Visitors were defeated by Saigon Heat 89-74. Saigon Heat outrebounded Can Tho CF 43-32 including 29 on the defensive glass. American Tavarion Nix (201, college: Midwestern St.) had a double-double by scoring 18 points and 15 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and center Khoa Tran Dang chipped in 16 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Five Saigon Heat players scored in double figures. American power forward DeAngelo Hamilton (203-90, college: Washington St.) responded with 20 points, 9 rebounds and 4 blocks and swingman Tam Dinh-Thanh (192-95) scored 16 points and 6 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Saigon Heat is looking forward to face Danang Dragons on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Can Tho CF will play against Hochiminh CW and is hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.
