Very expected game when Hochiminh CW (0-4) was defeated on the road by Danang Dragons (3-0) 79-72. Danang Dragons forced 23 Hochiminh CW turnovers. Americans were the main players on the court. Forward Zach Allmon (203, college: Vanguard) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 19 rebounds. Forward Chris Dierker (201, college: Madonna) contributed with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 12 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Four Danang Dragons players scored in double figures. Forward Quinton Doggett (206-90, college: Southern) replied with a double-double by scoring 32 points and 16 rebounds and guard Henry Nguyen (, college: Orange Coast CC) added 21 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Hochiminh CW. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Danang Dragons' next round opponent will be Hanoi B. (#5) on the road. Hochiminh CW will play against Can Tho CF and hope to win that game.
