Five Rangers players scored in double figures. Rangers' coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Tornadoes maintains third place in League with 11-7 record having three points less than leader Bendigo LB. Loser Rangers dropped to the fifth position with eight games lost. Tornadoes will face Tigers (#4) in Melbourne in the next round. Rangers will play at home against Tigers and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
