An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Buenos Aires. First ranked Berazategui faced 4th placed Rocamora. Host Berazategui (10-1) smashed guests from Concepcion de Urug. (6-7) 85-60. The game without a history. Berazategui led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. It was a great shooting night for Berazategui especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.9 percentage. International guard Macarena Durso (169-91) stepped up and scored 26 points and 5 rebounds for the winners and center Marya Leiva (180-96) chipped in 15 points and 8 rebounds. Berazategui's coach Juan Ferreyra felt very confident using entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. At the losing side American guard Keira Robinson (176-95, college: VCU) responded with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds and Brazilian-Italian Izabella Sangalli (184-95) scored 13 points. The victory was the eighth consecutive win for Berazategui. They maintain first place with 10-1 record. Loser Rocamora dropped to the fifth position with seven games lost. They share it with Velez S.. Berazategui will meet bottom-ranked Las Heras (#8) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Rocamora will have a break next round.
