The game in Hochiminh supposed to be also quite interesting. Can Tho CF (4-1) played at the court of Hochiminh CW (0-5). Can Tho CF smashed Hochiminh CW 104-77 on Sunday. Can Tho CF looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was American power forward DeAngelo Hamilton (203-90, college: Washington St.) who had a double-double by scoring 16 points, 17 rebounds, 8 assists and 6 steals. Hoang Nguycn-Phu chipped in 21 points and 7 rebounds. Four Can Tho CF players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Quinton Doggett (206-90, college: Southern) who recorded a double-double by scoring 24 points and 10 rebounds and the other American import guard Henry Nguyen (, college: Orange Coast CC) added 19 points and 8 rebounds respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Can Tho CF will face Danang Dragons (#4) on the road in the next round. Hochiminh CW will play against Saigon Heat and hopes to get finally their first victory.
