Regular Season Round 11: Luoyang - Jiangsu 89-82

Bottom-ranked Jiangsu is still unable to win any game. This time they lost on the road their 11th consecutive match to twelfth ranked Luoyang (4-7) 89-82 on Wednesday evening. It was an exceptional evening for American-Palestinian forward Michael Nunnally (203-86, college: Pacific) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 15 rebounds (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field). Forward Shuai Liu (196-95) accounted for 26 points and 6 rebounds for the winning side. Four Luoyang players scored in double figures. Forward MingYang Gao (196-88) came up with 32 points and 8 rebounds and British center Morakinyo Williams (210-88, college: Citadel) added 21 points and 12 rebounds respectively for Jiangsu in the defeat. Jiangsu's coach Jiani Gu rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Luoyang moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Henan. Jiangsu lost their eleventh game in a row. They still close the standings with 11 games lost. Luoyang will meet at home higher ranked Hebei X. (#4) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Jiangsu will have a break next round.
