There was no surprise in Kampala where 6th ranked JKL Dolphins (6-7) were defeated by third ranked City Oilers (9-3) 72-67 on Saturday. City Oilers outrebounded JKL Dolphins 32-19 including 23 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was the former international James Okello (194-90) who scored 16 points (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). The former international point guard Jimmy Enabu (187-88) chipped in 11 points. City Oilers' coach used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. Forward Brian Namake (-90) produced 17 points and 5 assists and international center Ivan Lumanyika (205-92) added 16 points and 9 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. They have a solid four-game winning streak. Defending champion moved-up to second place. Loser JKL Dolphins dropped to the fifth position with seven games lost. City Oilers will have a break next round. JKL Dolphins will play against Ndejje (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
