The game between closely ranked teams ended with fourth ranked Magic's (12-6) home victory over 5th ranked Casey C. (12-8) 91-86 on Saturday. It was a great evening for American guard Nelson Kirksey (190-89, college: UMKC) who led his team to a victory scoring 24 points and 5 rebounds. Jack Barry (-94) helped adding 12 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists. Magic's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. At the losing side American forward Raheem Lemons (196-93, college: Central State) responded with 24 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and naturalized British forward Matthew Donlan (201, college: Youngstown St.) scored 18 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Magic maintains fourth place in League with 12-6 record. Loser Casey C. keeps the fifth position with eight games lost. Magic will face Knox Raiders (#7) in Wantirna South in the next round. Casey C. will play at home against Hume City Broncos and hope to win that game.
