The game in was also quite interesting. 4th placed KIU Rangers (6-5) played at the court of sixth ranked Magic Stormers (4-6). Magic Stormers managed to secure a 9-point victory 54-45 on Saturday. It was an exceptional evening for Jane Asinde who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 13 rebounds. Guard Shakira Namvubya accounted for 11 points and 6 assists for the winning side. Center Moureen Atulinda (-89) came up with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 12 rebounds and center Brenda Aujat (176-94) added 10 points and 5 rebounds respectively for KIU Rangers in the defeat. Magic Stormers maintains sixth place with 4-6 record. Loser KIU Rangers dropped to the fifth position with five games lost. Magic Stormers will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. KIU Rangers will play against Javon Ladies (#9) and hope to secure a win.
