Regular Season Round 8: Aleman - Arabe R. 75-46

Not a big story in a game in Puerto Varas where 4th ranked CAP Rancagua (2-4) was rolled over by second ranked Aleman (4-1) 75-46 on Saturday. Aleman forced 23 CAP Rancagua turnovers and outrebounded them 42-26 including a 14-2 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Marko Castro (192-88) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds and forward Jonathan Alvial (188-88) who added 6 points and 8 assists during the contest. Forward Gustavo Contreras (190-84) responded with 11 points and 8 rebounds and Camilo Rivera (-95) scored 11 points and 5 steals. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Aleman maintains second position in Pro with 4-1 record behind leader CDU Concepcion. Loser CAP Rancagua keeps the fourth place with four games lost. Aleman will face league's leader Universidad de Concepcion on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
