Very significant was NW Tasmania Thunder's (#4) 20-point road victory against 6th ranked Tigers in League 97-77. The game was mostly controlled by NW Tasmania Thunder. Tigers was better in third quarter 22-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was an exceptional evening for guard Mason Bragg (182-93) who led the winners and scored 32 points and 9 assists (made all of his seven free throws). American forward Jeremiah Ingram (201-93, college: N.C.Central) accounted for 19 points and 6 rebounds for the winning side. Four NW Tasmania Thunder players scored in double figures. Center Deng Acuoth (213-96) came up with 20 points and 8 rebounds and guard Tom Wilson (195-97, college: SMU) added 16 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Tigers in the defeat. Tigers' coach rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. NW Tasmania Thunder maintains fourth place in League with 10-9 record. Tigers at the other side keep the sixth position with ten games lost. NW Tasmania Thunder will play against Diamond Valley Eagles (#7) in Greensborough in the next round. Tigers will play at home against Dandenong Rangers and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
