Not a big story in a game in Wantirna South where 7th ranked Thunder (5-10) was rolled over by first ranked Knox Raiders (14-2) 82-57 on Sunday. Knox Raiders looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. New Zealand guard Rebecca Ott (182-94) scored 23 points and 5 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and point guard Georgia Stirton (173, college: Gonzaga) chipped in 20 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was American forward Erin Bollmann (180-94, college: SE Missouri St.) with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 13 rebounds and her fellow American import center Kailyn Williams (193-94, college: Beth.-Cookman) scored 5 points and 12 rebounds. Thunder's coach was aware about no chance of winning the game, so allowed to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Knox Raiders maintains first position in League with 14-2 record. Newly promoted Thunder keeps the seventh place with ten games lost. Knox Raiders will face Hume City Broncos (#5) in Tullamarine in the next round. Thunder will play at home against Boomers and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
