Regular Season Round 8: Sharing Youth - Charging Rhinos 58-64

There was a surprise result when eleventh ranked Charging Rhinos (4-10) defeated on the road higher ranked Sharing Youth (5-8) 64-58 on Sunday. They outrebounded Sharing Youth 32-12 including a 23-9 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was forward Abel Omomgin (-89) who scored 19 points and 7 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Abraham Isiagi chipped in 10 points. Charging Rhinos' coach used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Center Stephan Otoa (-91) produced 16 points and 7 rebounds and guard Tonny Okello (-90) added 12 points respectively for the hosts. Charging Rhinos moved-up to tenth place, which they share with KCC Lions and UPDF. Sharing Youth lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the ninth position with eight games lost. Charging Rhinos will face bottom-ranked UPDF (#12) in the next round.
