Everything went according to plan in Penrith where fifth ranked Bruins (7-6) outleveled 9th ranked Panthers (1-14) 65-37 on Saturday. Bruins dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Panthers' 28. Bruins forced 23 Panthers turnovers and outrebounded them 49-33 including a 18-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Panthers' players. Briana Maimone fired 16 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Olivia White chipped in a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds. Natalia Beaumont produced 13 points and 8 rebounds and Hannah Koduah added 4 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Bruins maintains fifth place in League with 7-6 record. Newly promoted Panthers keep the ninth position with 14 games lost. Bruins will face higher ranked Hunters (#3) in Newcastle in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
