The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Noarlunga City Southern Tigers (15-2) in Morphett Vale on Saturday night. Hosts were edged by fifth ranked Forestville Eagles (11-6) 79-76. The former international power forward Daniel Johnson (212-88, college: Pepperdine) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 10 rebounds. American guard Jalen Richard (193-94, college: CS East Bay) contributed with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 14 rebounds for the winners. Richard is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. American swingman CJ Turnage (201-95, college: Saginaw Valley) replied with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 17 rebounds and his fellow American import forward Greg Mays (203-93, college: Green Bay) added 23 points, 5 rebounds and 4 blocks (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) in the effort for Noarlunga City Southern Tigers. Four Noarlunga City Southern Tigers players scored in double figures. Forestville Eagles maintains fifth position in League with 11-6 record. Noarlunga City Southern Tigers at the other side still keep top place with two games lost. Forestville Eagles are looking forward to face higher ranked Norwood Flames (#3) in Marden in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Noarlunga City Southern Tigers will play on the road against the league's second-placed West Adelaide Bearcats in Woodville and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
