Very significant was Saigon Heat's (#2, 6-3) victory against 4th placed Danang Dragons (3-5) 91-78. Saigon Heat players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Center Khoa Tran-Dang nailed 22 points, 9 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals for the winning side and American Tavarion Nix (201, college: Midwestern St.) accounted for 24 points and 11 rebounds. Four Saigon Heat players scored in double figures. American forward Zach Allmon (203, college: Vanguard) came up with 33 points (!!!), 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals and the other American import point guard Horace Nguyen (178, college: Bristol) added 16 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for Danang Dragons in the defeat. Saigon Heat maintains second place with 6-3 record behind leader Can Tho CF. Danang Dragons lost their fifth game in a row. They keep the fourth position with five games lost. Saigon Heat will play against Hanoi B. (#3) at home in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Danang Dragons will play against Hochiminh CW and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
