Regular Season Round 20: Sunshine CP - Logan T. 98-110

Very expected game when 11th ranked Sunshine CP (5-9) lost to fourth ranked Logan T. (10-4) in Cotton Tree 98-110 on Sunday. Logan T. dominated down low during the game scoring 78 of its points in the paint compared to Sunshine CP's 46. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Forward Mitch Young (206-90, college: St.Mary's, CA) orchestrated the victory by scoring 33 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds. Naturalized British forward Obi Kyei (206-94, college: Eckerd, agency: Two Points) contributed with 23 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. American power forward Delvon Johnson (206-89, college: Arkansas) replied with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 20 rebounds and 5 assists and his fellow American import Roy Booker (191-84, college: SE Missouri St.) added 33 points (!!!) in the effort for Sunshine CP. Four Logan T. and five Sunshine CP players scored in double figures. Logan T. moved-up to third place in League. Loser Sunshine CP dropped to the twelfth position with nine games lost. Logan T. will face Cairns Marlins (#5) at home in the next round. Sunshine CP will play against the league's leader Mackay Meteors (#1) and hope to win that game.
