Regular Season Round 18: Chongqing - Henan 115-109

There was a surprise result in Lanling where thirteenth ranked Chongqing (4-13) defeated higher ranked Henan (7-10) 115-109 on Friday. Henan was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. American-Georgian guard Thaddus McFadden (188-87, college: Fairmont St., agency: Higher Vision Sports) had a double-double by scoring 45 points (!!!), 10 rebounds, 4 assists and 6 steals to lead the charge for the winners and Lithuanian center Mindaugas Kupsas (217-91, agency: Octagon Europe) chipped in 13 points and 11 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was American Frank Gaines (191-90, college: IPFW) with 38 points (!!!) and 9 rebounds and U.S. Virgin Islands forward Rakeem Christmas (206-91, college: Syracuse) produced a double-double by scoring 22 points and 12 rebounds. Five Chongqing and four Henan players scored in double figures. Henan's coach JianXin Li let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Chongqing maintains thirteenth position with 4-13 record. Henan lost third consecutive game. They keep the ninth place with ten games lost. Chongqing will face higher ranked Luoyang (#9) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
