A very interesting game took place in . It ended with only one-point home defeat of higher ranked Wuhan (8-9) to eleventh ranked Fujian (7-10) 94-93 on Friday evening. Fujian forced 19 Wuhan turnovers. It was a good game for American center Amir Williams (211-92, college: Ohio St.) who saved his team from a defeat with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 18 rebounds and 4 blocks. The other American import guard Antoine Mason (191-92, college: Auburn) contributed with 27 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Ukrainian center Vladyslav Koreniuk (210-94, agency: Octagon Europe) replied with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 15 rebounds and American swingman Devin Green (201-82, college: Hampton, agency: Interperformances) added 16 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Wuhan. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Fujian moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Henan and Luoyang. Wuhan lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the seventh position with nine games lost. Fujian's next round opponent will be higher ranked Hunan (#3) in Changsha and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
