Everything went according to plan when top-ranked Lady Braves (20-0) defeated 8th ranked Frankston Blues (2-18) in Bendigo 88-71 on Friday. The game was mostly controlled by Lady Braves. Frankston Blues was better in third quarter 23-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Lady Braves looked well-organized offensively handing out 36 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Frankston Blues' players. The former international guard Kelly Wilson (170-84) orchestrated the victory by scoring 4 points, 6 rebounds and 22 assists. The former international center Gabrielle Richards (191-84, college: Oregon) contributed with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds for the winners.
