There was a minor upset when 3rd ranked Sabres (12-8) were outleveled by fifth ranked Sydney Uni S. (10-10) in Cheltenham 85-56 on Saturday. The game without a history. Sydney Uni S. led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Sydney Uni S. forced 25 Sabres turnovers. Sabres were plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Guard Susannah Walmsley (170-91) orchestrated the victory by scoring 21 points and 6 assists. Swingman Emily Simons (178-94, college: Pacific) contributed with 16 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Guard Hannah Kaser (178-93, college: St.Mary's, CA) replied with 13 points and 4 assists and forward Alex Delaney (183, college: St.Francis, NY) added 9 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Sabres. Sabres' coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Sydney Uni S. maintains fifth position in League with 10-10 record.
