An exciting game was played in Danang. Fourth ranked Thang Long W. faced one of their biggest challengers Danang Dragons. Guests from (4-4) defeated host Danang Dragons (3-6) 78-69. It was a good game for American power forward Jaywuan Hill (203-89, college: SW Baptist) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 36 points (!!!) and 11 rebounds (went 9 for 9 at the free throw line !!!). Naturalized American power forward Justin Young (201, college: Cal Poly Pomona) contributed with 13 points and 6 steals for the winners. Thang Long W.'s coach Predrag Lukic allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American forward Zach Allmon (203, college: Vanguard) replied with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 13 rebounds and 4 blocks and his fellow American import forward Chris Dierker (201, college: Madonna) added 20 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Danang Dragons. Defending champion maintains fourth position with 4-4 record. Danang Dragons lost sixth consecutive game. They dropped to the fifth place with six games lost. Thang Long W. will play against bottom-ranked Hochiminh CW (#6) at home in the next round. Danang Dragons will play against the league's second-placed Saigon Heat and hope to get back on the winning track.
