The game between fourth ranked Thang Long W. (5-4) and 6th ranked Hochiminh CW (1-9) in on Sunday ended with biggest points difference. Thang Long W. outscored guests from Hochiminh 92-69. Thang Long W. dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Hochiminh CW's 36. They outrebounded Hochiminh CW 56-41 including 18 on the offensive glass. It was a quality performance for naturalized American power forward Justin Young (201, college: Cal Poly Pomona) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 19 rebounds and 9 assists. American power forward Jaywuan Hill (203-89, college: SW Baptist) accounted for 21 points and 14 rebounds for the winning side. Four Thang Long W. players scored in double figures. Thang Long W.'s coach Predrag Lukic felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American forward Quinton Doggett (206-90, college: Southern) came up with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 18 rebounds and the other American import guard Henry Nguyen (, college: Orange Coast CC) added 14 points, 5 assists and 5 steals respectively for Hochiminh CW in the defeat. The victory was the third consecutive win for Thang Long W.. Defending champion maintains fourth place with 5-4 record. Loser Hochiminh CW stay at the bottom position with nine games lost. Thang Long W. will meet league's second-placed Saigon Heat on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Hochiminh CW will play against the league's second-placed Saigon Heat (#2) and hope to win that game.
