Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Oruro: CAN Oruro (#2) and Carl A-Z (#4). CAN Oruro (6-2) smashed visiting Carl A-Z (4-4) by 20 points 103-83. CAN Oruro dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Carl A-Z's 32 and made 22-of-28 charity shots (78.6 percent) during the game. American point guard Yavario Smith (182-89, college: Central Mo.) added 15 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals for lost side. Five Carl A-Z players scored in double figures. CAN Oruro maintains second position with 6-2 record having just one point less than leader Calero. Carl A-Z at the other side dropped to the third place with four games lost.
