Twelfth ranked Chongqing (7-15) crushed at home 13th ranked Beijing (4-18) by 28 points 149-121, which is the biggest margin this round on Friday night. The game without a history. Chongqing led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Chongqing outrebounded Beijing 51-35 including 18 on the offensive glass. Worth to mention a quality performance of American-Georgian guard Thaddus McFadden (188-87, college: Fairmont St., agency: Higher Vision Sports) who helped to win the game recording 61 points (!!!), 9 rebounds, 7 assists and 6 steals and guard Yang Wang (198-90) who added 30 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. Chongqing's coach Yiding Li felt very confident that he used 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. The best for the losing side was American guard Marquis Weddle (185-88, college: W.Virg.Wesl.) with 36 points (!!!), 5 rebounds and 5 assists and his fellow American import forward Devonte Upson (206-93, college: SE Louisiana) scored 18 points and 8 rebounds. Five Chongqing and four Beijing players scored in double figures. Chongqing maintains twelfth position with 7-15 record. Beijing lost seventh consecutive game. They keep the thirteenth place with 18 games lost. Chongqing will face higher ranked Lhasa (#10) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Beijing will play against Hebei X. and hope to win that game.
