Very predictable result in Changsha where third ranked Hunan (21-5) defeated 12th ranked Chongqing (10-16) 138-124 on Sunday. Hunan dominated down low during the game scoring 94 of its points in the paint compared to Chongqing's 68. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American-Jamaican guard Sek Henry (193-87, college: Nebraska) fired a double-double by scoring 27 points, 6 rebounds and 12 assists for the winners. chipped in 34 points (!!!). American-Georgian guard Thaddus McFadden (188-87, college: Fairmont St., agency: Higher Vision Sports) produced a double-double by scoring 38 points (!!!), 8 rebounds, 10 assists and 4 steals and guard Yang Wang (198-90) added 23 points respectively for lost side. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Hunan moved-up to second place, which they share with Anhui. Loser Chongqing dropped to the eleventh position with 16 games lost. Hunan will meet Lhasa (#10) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Chongqing will play against Guangxi and hope to secure a win.
