Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Kampala: City Oilers (#3) and Charging Rhinos (#11). Charging Rhinos were smashed at home by 32 points 64-96. City Oilers dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Charging Rhinos' 38. They outrebounded Charging Rhinos 53-30 including a 16-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. City Oilers players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. The former international James Okello (194-90) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 17 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals. Burundian forward Landry Ndikumana (198-95) contributed with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Four City Oilers players scored in double figures. Abel Omomgin (-89) replied with 19 points and 6 assists and forward Ian Magolukejje (-89) added 9 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Charging Rhinos. Charging Rhinos' coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. City Oilers have a solid three-game winning streak. Defending champion (16-4) moved-up to second place. Charging Rhinos lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keep the eleventh position with 16 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
