The game in supposed to be also worth to mention about. Second ranked UCU Ladies (14-2) played at the court of 7th ranked Angels (4-12). UCU Ladies smashed Angels 84-48. UCU Ladies held Angels to an opponent 25.0 percent shooting from the field compared to 53.1 percent accuracy of the winners. They outrebounded Angels 64-24 including a 47-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. Angels were plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for international forward Sarah Ageno (176-96) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 16 rebounds and 5 assists. Kenyan center Vilma Achieng (-94) contributed with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 14 rebounds for the winners. Irene Nalunkuma (-90) replied with 17 points and Sumine Nabatanzi (-81) added 7 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Angels. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. UCU Ladies have an impressive ten-game winning streak. Defending champion keeps a position of league leader. Angels lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the eighth place with 12 games lost. They share the position with Javon Phenoms. UCU Ladies' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Kampala KCCA Leopards.
