The game in Panama City was also worth to mention about. Caballos (0-2) played at the court of Halcones (1-1). Halcones managed to secure a 9-point victory 89-80. Halcones players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. Naturalized American point guard Bradley Tumer (183-89, college: Clayton St.) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 6 rebounds, 17 assists and 5 steals. American center Dominic Woodson (211-95, college: Tennessee) contributed with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Four Halcones players scored in double figures. Puerto Rican point guard Alvin Cruz (186-82, college: Niagara) replied with 31 points and 6 rebounds and Nigerian-American power forward Ike Okoye (206-86, college: Boise St.) added 15 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Caballos. Caballos' coach David Rosario rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Halcones will play against Toros (#6) in David in the next round. Caballos will play at home against Aguilas to get more than just one victory in their record.
