Very important is a home loss of Gent Hawks (0-2) against Spirou B (1-0) on Saturday night. Host Gent Hawks were defeated by Spirou B in a tough game in Gent 60-69. Power forward Joren Vermoessen (201-93) produced 14 points, 5 rebounds and 4 blocks and forward Joeri Vermoessen (200-93) added 14 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. Gent Hawks' coach Eric Rogiers rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Spirou B's next round opponent will be Giants B (#8) in Antwerp which should be theoretically an easy game. Gent Hawks will play on the road against Ieper (#9) and hope to win that game.
