Regular Season Round 3: Toros - Universitarios 60-86

The game in David supposed to be also quite interesting. Halcones (2-2) played at the court of Toros (0-3). Halcones smashed Toros 86-60 on Tuesday. Halcones dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Toros' 32. Halcones forced 20 Toros turnovers. It was an exceptional evening for naturalized American point guard Bradley Tumer (183-89, college: Clayton St.) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists. The former international forward Anell Alexis (200-90, college: Marist) accounted for 18 points and 8 rebounds for the winning side. Four Halcones players scored in double figures. Gil Atencio (202-96, college: St.Clair) came up with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 10 rebounds and 4 blocks and Carlos Hoy (192-81) added 12 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Toros in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Halcones' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Panama City Panteras.
