But Martinenc was not able to use a home court advantage and was defeated by the opponent from Sant Adria 75-58 on Saturday night. The game was mostly controlled by Sant Adria. Martinenc was better in fourth quarter 18-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Sant Adria dominated down low during the game scoring 42 of its points in the paint compared to Martinenc's 20. They outrebounded Martinenc 48-27 including a 35-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. Center Oscar Amo (204-97) stepped up and scored 14 points and 7 rebounds for the winners and Antonio Ruiz (-87) chipped in 12 points and 8 rebounds. At the losing side Pau Mayor responded with 14 points and 5 assists and Angel Garcia scored 15 points. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Sant Adria will face JAC Sants in Barcelona in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Martinenc's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Barcelona to the arena SESE.
