The game with biggest result difference took place in Stockholm. Local Hammarby (1-0) outscored Jamtland II (0-2) 112-79 on Sunday night. The game was mostly controlled by Hammarby. Jamtland II managed to win fourth quarter 25-24. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Hammarby dominated down low during the game scoring 78 of its points in the paint compared to Jamtland II's 30. They outrebounded Jamtland II 65-26 including a 25-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. Forward Uros Cigoja (198-98) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds for the winners and Noah Kelly (-97) chipped in 17 points and 14 rebounds. Coach Ake Barlin's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. At the losing side forward Alexander Yemane (200-99) responded with 18 points and 8 rebounds (made all of his nine free throws !!!) and forward John Palsson (190-99) scored 20 points. Five Hammarby and four Jamtland II players scored in double figures. Hammarby will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Jamtland II will play against Taby Basket (#6) and hope to win that game.
