Regular Season Round 2: Saint Vallier - Charleville 68-61

There was a surprise result when Saint Vallier (1-1) defeated at home Charleville-Mezieres (1-1) 68-61 on Tuesday. The best player for the winners was Vincent Ateba (195-85, college: Missouri So.) who scored 18 points. Forward Christnel Jean-Francois (198-91) chipped in 10 points and 9 rebounds. Bosnian Nemanja Kovanusic (204-93) produced a double-double by scoring 19 points and 13 rebounds and swingman Jonathan Leria (198-90) added 13 points and 10 rebounds respectively for the guests. Saint Vallier will face Souffelweyersheim (#4) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Charleville-Mezieres will play against GET Vosges and hope to win that game and get promotion back to the ProB just one year after relegation.
