Regular Season Round 3: Fos-Provence - Dijon 61-82

No shocking result in a game when JDA Dijon (3-0) crushed Provence Basket (0-3) in Fos-sur-Mer 82-61 on Friday. JDA Dijon dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Provence Basket's 30. JDA Dijon forced 24 Provence Basket turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. It was an exceptional evening for American forward Ryan Pearson (198-90, college: George Mason, agency: Inception Sports) who led the winners and scored 24 points and 5 rebounds. The former international forward Jeremy Leloup (202-87) accounted for 14 points and 4 assists for the winning side. Four JDA Dijon players scored in double figures. American Ronald Lewis (193-84, college: Ohio St., agency: Pensack Sports) came up with 15 points and the other American import Marcus Dove (206-85, college: Oklahoma St.) added 7 points and 9 rebounds respectively for Provence Basket in the defeat. Provence Basket's coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. JDA Dijon will meet at home Pau-Lacq-Orthez (#12) in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Provence Basket will play against ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket (#1) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
