Regular Season Round 2: Tarragona - Salou 77-55

Tarragona used a home court advantage and smashed the opponent from Salou 77-55 on Saturday night. Center Ferran Torres (201-88) had a double-double by scoring 19 points and 12 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and guard Adria Duch (185-95) chipped in 21 points during the contest. American Everrett Pleasant (198-92, college: Tex.A&M-Comm.) responded with 14 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Gerard Santiago (185-92) scored 12 points and 5 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Tarragona will face Martorell (#13) on the road in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Salou will play against Quart (#3) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
