Regular Season Round 2: Castellbisbal - Martorell 83-76

Castellbisbal used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Martorell 83-76 on Saturday night. Castellbisbal made 25-of-28 free shots (89.3 percent) during the game. Martorell was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. Marc Manes (196-86) scored 23 points and 7 rebounds (was perfect 16-for-16 from the free throw line !!!) to lead the charge for the winners and guard David Lopez (184-89) chipped in 23 points during the contest. Castellbisbal's coach Xavi Trench used entire bench and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Alberto Valle (186-81) responded with 23 points and 6 rebounds and naturalized Venezuelan power forward Luis Gonzalez (200-85) scored 12 points and 8 rebounds. Castellbisbal will face Mataro Feimat (#5) on the road in the next round. Martorell will play against Tarragona (#4) and hope to win that game and get promotion back to the LEB Silver just one year after relegation.
