Regular Season Round 2: Valls Nutrion - Mataro Feimat 52-82

There was a minor upset when Valls Nutrion (1-1) was outplayed at home by Mataro Feimat (1-1) 82-52 on Saturday. Mataro Feimat outrebounded Valls Nutrion 51-34 including a 41-24 advantage in defensive rebounds. Center Jordi Juanola (-98) scored 14 points and 9 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Jaume Sole (195-91) chipped in 18 points during the contest. Naturalized Equatorial Guinean forward Oscar Ngomo (201-90) responded with 6 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Fernando Boada (180-94) scored 3 points and 8 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Mataro Feimat will face Castellbisbal (#9) at home in the next round. Valls Nutrion will play against Calvia and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
