Regular Season Round 3: Hoybraten - Gimle Pride 57-61

The game in Oslo was also quite interesting. Gimle Pride (3-1) played at the court of Hoybraten (1-2). Gimle Pride managed to secure a 4-point victory 61-57 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 3 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 1-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 61-57. Gimle Pride forced 21 Hoybraten turnovers. The best player for the winners was guard Julie Winther (178-87) who scored 4 points and 13 rebounds. Center Josefin Winther (180-86) chipped in 7 points and 11 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Sigrid Davidsen (185-95) who recorded a double-double by scoring 20 points and 14 rebounds and Kosovan guard Flaka Kelmendi (165-98) added 5 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals respectively. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Gimle Pride will meet Sandvika (#7) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Hoybraten will play against Asker and hope to win that game.
