Regular Season Round 2: Racing - Residence 74-65

Date: September 29, 2018
No shocking result in a game when Racing (2-0) beat Residence (0-2) in Luxembourg 74-65 on Saturday. Racing outrebounded Residence 40-28 including a 34-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. American players dominated the game. Swingman Scott Morton (195-87, college: Geneseo St.) notched a triple-double by scoring 18 points, 17 rebounds and 11 assists to lead the effort and forward Shannon Hale-Jr (203-94, college: Alabama) supported him with 25 points and 5 rebounds. Even a double-double of 22 points and 12 rebounds by swingman Trevor Setty (203-89, college: Pikeville) did not help to save the game for Residence. Forward Treg Setty (203-92, college: Ohio, agency: Mansfield and Associates) added 17 points and 8 rebounds for the guests. Racing will meet at home Basket Esch (#5) in the next round. Residence will play against Amicale in Steinsel and hope to win that game.
