The game in Oslo supposed to be also worth to mention about. Gimle BBK (4-0) played at the court of Centrum (0-3). Gimle BBK smashed Centrum 93-72. The game was mostly controlled by Gimle BBK. Centrum was better in third quarter 24-23. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Gimle BBK dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Centrum's 36. Gimle BBK forced 21 Centrum turnovers and outrebounded them 43-32 including a 18-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was Serbian-Montenegrin center Milovan Savic (205-87) who had a double-double by scoring 22 points and 12 rebounds. International guard Eivind Lamo (195-96) chipped in 19 points and 8 rebounds. Five Gimle BBK players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Oivind Lundestad (194-91, college: Point Loma) who recorded 26 points and guard Johan Flaa (183-99) added 7 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists respectively. Gimle BBK's next round opponent will be Froya Basket (#3) in Laksevag, which may be the game of the day. Centrum will play at home against Kongsberg (#5) and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
