Not a big story in a game when SO Maritime Boulogne (0-3) lost on the road to Saint-Quentin (3-0) 97-89 on Saturday. Saint-Quentin made 18-of-23 free shots (78.3 percent) during the game. Strangely SO Maritime Boulogne outrebounded Saint-Quentin 47-31 including 19 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. It was a good game for Desmond Quincy-Jones (201-85, college: Pace) who led his team to a victory with 23 points and 7 rebounds. American-Jamaican center Ryan Rhoomes (203-92, college: Fordham, agency: Duran International) contributed with 26 points for the winners. American forward Matt Bonds (196-95, college: St.Michael's, agency: Duran International) answered with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 14 rebounds and British-Canadian guard Kyle Johnson (195-88, college: LIU Brooklyn, agency: Blacktop Management) added 19 points in the effort for SO Maritime Boulogne. Five Saint-Quentin and four SO Maritime Boulogne players scored in double figures. Saint-Quentin will face Aubenas (#11) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. SO Maritime Boulogne will play against Sorgues BC and hopes to get finally their first victory.
