Very expected game in Barcelona where Martinenc (1-2) was defeated by SESE (2-0) 68-55 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by SESE. Martinenc was better in third quarter 15-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Martinenc 40-15 including a 29-8 advantage in defensive rebounds. Ignasi Gomez (-92) scored 15 points and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and guard Albert Barquets (189-98) chipped in 20 points during the contest. Power forward Aitor Perez (203-88) responded with 18 points and guard Marc Sese (190-93) scored 15 points. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games.
