But Sykki was not able to use a home court advantage and was outplayed by the opponent from Kotka 106-66 on Saturday night. The game without a history. KTP led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Sykki's 32 and made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. Guard Janne-Petteri Lehtoranta (190-0) fired 34 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds for the winners. Swingman Eero Hannikainen (190-1) chipped in 21 points and 5 rebounds. Five KTP players scored in double figures. Elmo Villa (187-0) produced 13 points and 6 rebounds and point guard Anton Suomalainen (180-2) added 16 points respectively for lost side. Sykki's coach Tomas Luomanmaki gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. KTP will face Pyrinto in Tampere in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Sykki will play at home against Lahti and hope to win that game.
