But Pleszew was not able to use a home court advantage and was defeated by the opponent from Wroclaw 90-79 on Saturday night. Gimbasket WRC made 21-of-26 free shots (80.8 percent) during the game. Pleszew was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Point guard Luka Malachow (184-94) fired 35 points (!!!) and 7 assists (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winners. Point guard Maciej Kosciuk (181-94) chipped in 18 points and 6 assists. Four Gimbasket WRC players scored in double figures. Mikolaj Spala (189-93) produced 20 points and 6 rebounds and point guard Alan Urbaniak (185-85) added 24 points respectively for lost side. Gimbasket WRC will face AZS PO in Opole in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Pleszew will play on the road against Rawia (#6) in Rawicz and hope to win that game.
