Bulgarian forward Aleks Simeonov (200-93) produced 18 points and 7 rebounds and American guard Miles Wright (196-95, college: Dartmouth) added 17 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side. Five Haukar and four Valur players scored in double figures. Valur's coach Agust Bjoergvinsson let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Haukar will face IR (#8) in Reykjavik in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Valur will play at home against Tindastoll (#6) and hope to win that game.
